Shockwave Therapy in Greenwood, IN

How Does Shockwave Therapy Work?

EPAT (Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Technology) uses acoustic pressure waves to stimulate local blood flow and support the body’s natural repair response. For the right patient, shockwave therapy can be a useful non-invasive option for musculoskeletal pain, soft-tissue irritation, and collagen-supporting aesthetic treatments.

Pain and Recovery Uses for Shockwave Therapy

We offer shockwave therapy for a variety of musculoskeletal concerns, including:

  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Tendinitis (Achilles tendinitis, rotator cuff tendinitis, patellar tendinitis)
  • Tennis elbow / Golfer’s elbow
  • Shin splints
  • Heel spurs
  • Bursitis
  • Muscle strains and sprains
  • Trigger points and myofascial pain
  • Joint pain (shoulder, knee, hip, and more)
  • TMJ pain

Shockwave therapy may be considered for both acute injuries and chronic conditions, especially when pain or limited mobility has not improved with more conservative care.

What is the Cost?

Shockwave therapy is available to patients as an a la cart service for $100 per session, or you can purchase a bundle of three sessions for $250. You do not have to be a medical member of the practice to utilize this therapy. While 80% of individuals will experience significant pain relief and improved function after one treatment, it is recommended that you undergo a series of 3-6 treatments for many chronic and acute injuries.

TMJ treatment cost is $100 per treatment or $450 for up to 5 treatments for full resolution.

Aesthetics packages (cellulite and scar treatments) are only available as a package starting at $600 for six treatments (reg $120 per session), as these types of treatments require higher pulse rates for ideal cosmetic results which adds additional wear to the machine. Additional single treatment add ons are $120 per session.
